Dubai Drums will be performing and offering community sessions every Saturday as of 4pm

The Jam Jar Studio offers the opportunity for visitors to paint in and amongst the winding streets of the Bastakiya. Get creative with a canvas, easel, brushes and paint, drawing inspiration from the unique atmosphere and buzz of Souq Al Bastakiya! Each week a different artist will be showcased at thejamjar studio delivering art workshops for children, families and adults from Lomography to recycled art to creating a mural.

• Three sessions a day will be running each Saturday from 17th January - 28th February and will last 45mins each.


• The program will take place every Saturday at 11am, 1pm and 3pm and shall run for 45mins.

So for all those peeps out there who don't know how to knit, have always wanted to knit, but just didn't have the time.. here is your chance! 'Its super easy, and I can show you the basics, enough for you to lead you towards sweater maker! 'I'll show you how get to know your needles (I can have some for sale I guess?? And yarn.. right?), how to purl and knit, and then how to read patterns.

Each week I can add a new skill for those people who want to come back:
- Cables,
- Reducing stitches
- Using color
- Increasing stitches
- Ribbing
- Patterns
The list goes on. But it is fun and easy, and I welcome newbys and people who know a bit and who just want to meet some new knitters!
